Dr. Maimuna Orire Abdulraheem is a Reader (Associate Professor) in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning, Faculty of Environmental Sciences, University of Ilorin. Holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees (ABU Zaria) MBA and Ph.D. degrees (UNILORIN) PGD Education (NOUN) and a Diploma in Data Processing. With over fifteen years of administrative, teaching and research experience, she’s currently Ag. Head, Department of Urban and Regional Planning, University of Ilorin. A former Sub-Dean of the Faculty of Environmental Sciences, Faculty Research Manager, recipient of TETFUND-IBR Grant, Senate Research grant and FGN Scholarships. Her research interest covers Environmental Management, Climate Change, Urban Management, Pollution and Population Studies. She has published in reputable local, national and international journals. A registered Town planner, member Nigerian Institute of Town Planner, Nigerian Institute of Management and Association of Women Town Planners in Nigeria. She has served on several University committees i.e. Admissions, Library and Publications, Business Committee of Senate, Merit Award, Quality Assurance among others. She is the Desk Officer for the UNILORIN-ARDEN University, UK partnership.
