Biography

Abdullateef Iyanda Bako is an Associate Professor and formerly Head of Department of Urban and Regional Planning (2018-2020) and immediate past Acting Dean of the Faculty of Environmental Sciences, University of Ilorin, Nigeria (2020-2022). He also holds B.Sc. in Environmental Science and Resource Management from the National Open University of Nigeria, a Master’s degrees in Urban & Regional Planning and Business Administration from the University of Ibadan and the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho, Nigeria, respectively. He is a full member of the Nigerian Institute of Town Planners (NITP) and a Registered Town Planner (RTP). His doctoral degree in Urban and Regional Planning was obtained from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria, in 2012. His research interests include urban planning, land administration, housing, and urban security.
