Abdulfatai Anofi is a Lecturer II in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning, Faculty of Environmental Sciences, University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He is currently a level adviser and has also been faculty representative in the boards of examiners of a number of faculties within the university. Notably, he served as Ex Officio IV of the Nigerian Institute of Town Planners (2020-2022). Before joining the university’s services, he was the Group Town Planner at a real estate and development company, First World Communities Ltd. He rose and doubled as the Technical Assistant to the President between November 2012 and April 2018. Prior to his stint at the Lagos-based real estate firm, he was a Town Planning Officer at Adesanya Salako and Associates, a Consulting Town Planning Firm, between March 2008 and October 2012. His research interests span urban informality, urban management, pro-poor planning, and environmental justice.
