Mr. Suleiman Agava Rafiu

Suleiman Agava Rafiu is a Lecturer I in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning, Faculty of Environmental Sciences, University of Ilorin, Ilorin. He is currently running his Ph.D. programme in Urban and Regional Planning. He served in the department as a Level adviser and examination officer, and presently, he is the departmental coordinator for the Students’ Industrial Work Scheme (SIWES). He is a registered Town Planner with the Town Planners Registration Council of Nigeria (TOPREC). Suleiman Agava Rafiu has published articles in reputable journals and his areas of interest: Housing, Urban infrastructure, and Urban environmental health. He has worked with a reputable Town Planning Consultants Firm in Abuja between 2012 – 2017 where he gathered various skills and techniques of initiating and implementing planning proposals and schemes before joining the prestigious University of Ilorin. He is happily married and has children.
